Thanks for stopping by the site of Long Island based drummer Mike Sorrentino. As a busy player and educator, Mike juggles many projects. A veteran on the Broadway scene, Mike was the principle drummer on the first national tour of Movin' Out in addition to subbing on the original Broadway production. Other shows he has subbed on include Grease, In The Heights, Spiderman: Turn off the Dark, Kinky Boots, Pretty Woman and Mean Girls. Click here for a longer list of credits. A world recognized drum set instructor, Mike was a member of Modern Drummer Magazine’s Education Team and ran Hudson Music’s Teacher Integration Program from its inception in 2008 until early 2012. He is one of the featured instructors (along with Steve Gadd, Steve Smith, Mike Portnoy, Chad Smith and Joe Bergamini) in the DrumGuru app. Mike also was the co-producer for Hudson Music's Ultimate Lessons DVD series He is currently teaching a limited number of private students.
